Caroline – Pet Grooming

My name is Carrie Davies - I am 26 years old, I have had animals since I was born. I adore all animals and caring for them genuinely brings me great joy and peace actually. As a family of 6 growing up, we had everything: dogs, cats, rabbits, Guinea-pigs, mice, hamsters, chinchilla and a family friends snake for a little bit. I adore all animals probably through growing up in Kent and then the New Forest and even going to university on the coast. As you will see on my CV since graduating5 years ago, I have traveled the world, worked in customer service roles and for the last3 years worked for animals charities in communications roles, covering; Orangutan Appeal UK, the Jane Goodall institute, WWF-UK (world wildlife fund for nature) and now freelancing for Remembering Lions. As stated above my family and I have had a real array of pets. I moved out 2 months ago and my family currently has a springer spaniel collie and our previous dog for 17 years was a collie greyhound, so I’m very used to and experienced in dealing with: - Hyperactive behaviour - Need to be walked up to 5 times a day - Need for constant stimulation; toys, playing outside etc - Ability to provide ‘light’ training - Ability to nicely discipline - Ability to build trust & respect with an animal - Knowledge of spotting ailments of injuries - Ability to calm down an animal - Awareness of how to let strangers or any children wanting to interact with animal - Confident in administration of any needed medication and visiting the vets I am highly passionate about animals and people, I provide excellent service and care to both the animals and owners. I am a genuinely hard working and kind individual: - 26 years of animal experience, hands on. - 17 years of experience with family dogs. - Experience of caring for all breeds, sizes and temperaments. - I’m a qualified nature guide (WCA) - I’m highly reliable and friendly!
